German!

I am really nervous about German tomorrow. I've never been very good and I always struggle with it. It's gone on the back burner for the recent times during exams, but now it's tomorrow!

Can anyone give me any idea of good things to revise? Predictions are very welcome. I just need some guidance as to what to do!

Hey, I srcewed for German too, But my teacher is going on about rascism, the recession/unemployment, etc., moblie phones and maybe a formal letter, and she has predicted the papers perfectly ever year.

Yeah like applying for a job,or making a complaint or something, she did it really quickly with us, but don't think there is much chance of it coming up, but did it just in case

(S) means scharfas S.
I never did anything about racism.
This is mainly economy but there's a small bit there about unemployment...

Es geht der irischen Wirtschaft zur Zeit nicht sehr gut. Der Erfolg wurde "der Keltische Tiger" genannt.
Trotzdem kommen Fluchtlinge und Asylanted jeden Monat nach Irland. Sie brauchen Unterkunft und Verpflegung.
Armut ist immer nock ein gro(S)es Problem, und auf keinen fall gibt es eine Stelle fur jeden. In jeder Stadt sieht man Obdachlose. Die Kluft zwischen Riechen und Armen wurd standing gro(S)er.
Das Drogenproblem ist auch weit verbreitet. Das wachsende Drogen-Problem fuhrt zu Gewalt. Leute stehlen, um Geld fur rauschgift zu bekommen.

Careful, google translate screws up your word order.

I think it's the reason why I have gone from being ausgezeichnet at German to now being barely able to properly string a sentence together :pac:

my german teacher has predicted that Ausländer, neue Medien, Jugendleute(autofahren, alkohol, fitness und Gesundheit probleme), wirtschaftslege(Irlande, Deutschland, Europa), Irlande und Europa(Lisbon), these are the topics you should focus on. . hope this helps:)

Something as specific as the Lisbon Treaty i doubt very much will come up... and a formal letter has not come up either so scratch that off the list...

And at the start of your letters (someone made the mistake there)

Wie geht's? Make sure your put in the apostrophe, that would look very bad at the start of your letter, it's short for Wie geht es dir.

That's an informal letter layout, we've never done a formal letter, I'd be surprised if it came up and I had a really good teacher, does anyone have one though just in case?? :P
