Dont think MABS give out loans - basically they are and advisory service for people in difficulties.

The Credit Union would be your best bet - but you'll need to have an account open for at least 10 weeks before they'll consider lending to you. They are also linked to the Irish Credit Bureau so if you have had any problems in the past it's unlikely they'd consider you but you could always try them.
