Autechre (Warp Records) sign up for Anodyne Remix EP On Psychonavigation

Legendary Electronic act Autechre have completed a remix for the Anodyne Remix EP to be released on Irish imprint Psychonavigation Records.

Anodyne 'Close Your Eyes' (The Corporation Street Remix by Autechre) will be available to pre-order as a digital download from August 9th exclusively through Bleep.com

The remix ep also contains 6 other reworkings by : The Black Dog , Lackluster , Mick Chillage , Anodyne , Mr.Spring & Ed Devane.

Corrosion is anodyne's first full length LP in over a decade and is the first official anodyne release since appearing on the Skam : Mask 500 compilation alongside Gescom, Hell Interface & Hakan Libdo..

The albums 12 tracks blended elements of old skool rave, elektro and breakbeat into a darkly beautiful, electronic LP. Since it's initial release word has quickly spread of this unique talent and what now follows seems like the perfect accompaniment.

I couldn't recommend this release more highly, It's bloody ace [Rob Hall / Gescom]

The artist was keen to involve two of his own personal heroes Autechre & The Black Dog to contribute to the Remix EP. Both acts lend their incredible talent to the remixes and the results are simply stunning. The digital release also features 5 bonus remixes covering everything from Electro House - Acid Breaks - IDM.

Anodyne - Remix EP will be officially released as a Limited 12” Vinyl (300) & as a 7 track Digital remix package on August 23rd through the Irish imprint Psychonavigation Records.

Were into the the last few days of the special price at bleep.com for the 7 remix package. Really disappointed to walk into City Discs on Friday to be told that this is only available via the web... What's the story with that, surely you would support local record stores and make some available in the traditional way?

Ah good stuff - I can easily buy online obviously but I do like where possible to support local stores! Plus Craig is a good bloke and should have access to this!
