    Hi all,

This is my first post in this forum.

    I've recently got into fishing.

I live right on Dollymount strand so was wondering what the fishing is like off the Bull wall.

    Any good/bad experiences?

I'm keen to find out the best spots/times and what I should be looking for.

How is the spot rated in general?

    Thanks

    It's better after dark.
Flounder, with occasional dogfish, smooth hound, and bass.

Would the monument at the end of the causeway be the best spot?

Wait till autumn imo..fish off the bridge towards the city or the rocks at the statue...codling,pollack and flounders are the most common fish.
The whole place is absolutley alive with crabs though which will drive you mad..there's a lot of weed there too.

I used to fish off the bridge during the winter months at night. Caught lots of little whiting. Have not fished it in years.
