Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Sabotage by fellow competitor/spectator?
Why is everyone assuming that it's some dumbass that doesn't know how to put a wheel on their own bike?

I see a spud fall in his/her future though...

That was probably some guy who was driven there by his Dad, they were a little late so his Dad said, "You run on over there and get signed in son, don't worry about the bike, I'll sort it out". Of course, with the bike in the boot they had the rear wheel removed, so the Dad just didn't pay attention to what he was doing.

What about the obligatory wheel spin after putting the wheel in?? Look at the brake it's well over to the right due to the dish of the wheel, there's no way the wheel would spin.

It must have been an effort to get it in!

    Hmmm...

Pic shows 'road shoes' as opposed to 'triathlon shoes'.

Based on the evidence at hand you could conceivably rename the thread to 'cyclist doing a triathlon'.

If only someone was there with a camera when he tried to cycle off with it.
