Was there never an opportunity for new players to join or did I miss it? Been checking fairly regularly.

There was a sticky up the last few weeks but it was only open to existing league players.

So how is this going to work?
Play each team in the group once or twice?
How many will qualify to the next phase? Is there a next phase?

Or perhaps the layout of the competition will be revealed shortly? and I should just hold my proverbial horses? :^P

It is the exact same format as the world cup, you play whoever is in your group once and whoever comes first/second qualify to the knockout stages!

    England (Axwell) 4-0 Slovenia (moz)

GG. Few chances for Slovenia if they had better players they would have went in.

    England (Axwell) 3-5 USA (Bassman)

GG. Rob Green in true WC fashion letting in a few sitters! :D

    USA (Moiph) 4 - 0 Slovenia (moz)

    England (Axwell) 3 - 5 USA (Moiph)

Have to say I'm chuffed with this one. Axwell went 2-0 up early on and I thought it was gonna be a hammering for me. GG.

Nope, we will sort out the next stage once this one ends. Some people still havent played their games so they need to get on and get their games out of the way.

    Portugal 4-2 Brazil

I went 4-0 and then some sloppy defending cost me my clean sheet.

Disappointed i gave away the second trying to skip a replay and passed it out, but was the celebration needed? Since i didn't celebrate any of my goals i was hoping for the same courtesy.

Evad_lhorg (dowdus maximus) has been kicked from the competition for failure to play his games on time (or even join the league)

His fixtures have been given as 3-0 walkover to his opponents.

Can Hokem with Italy and Parawind with Portugal avoid eachother untill the final?

Because you get to give feedback at this community day thing im hoping Parawind wins it as he dislikes custom tatics/formations so he can give them plenty of feedback on them :P

Hokems just gunna tell them the manual chip is ****e and none of us want that!:D

id agree with those predictions too except for Germany to beat England, again! i dont fancy my chances against Paraguay although should be tight.

Id like to think whoever wins this thing will mention that the chip is crap anyway(well, maybe not Bud!)
