    That's gorgeous.
And that third photo is particularly impressive, I make that to be a 0.157" group!
    (9.18mm = 0.3684" - .204" = 0.157")

Your hunting rifles are pretty sweat. Do you use the .243 for varmint or deer?

    Hi BA,
as Dwighet said we make the PSE stocks.
The stocks I made for myself are of course test pieces, sometimes to see
if the very light builds hold up to rough terrain and shooting. Also to test new shapes or add ons like the little kaiser grip.

Ahhh , now in have you placed, we met up at the midlands range, just didn't put the boards name and the face together

not quite a custom in that all the bits are readily available, but I'll upload photos of my new smallbore when it arrives, since it's put together from my personal selections of component parts.

  • Registered Users Posts: 809 ✭✭✭ejg

    Tac,
used the 243 for sika hinds a few times and once for a stag last season.
Without moderator and with a light scope it's a very handy rifle for longer walks, lovely for off-hand close range shooting too.
Mostly use the 243 for foxing and the 308 for deer.

Im probably goin to get banned again but theres nothing like saying it as it is.
We're probably not going to get a mad amount of people posting there photos on here simply because they risk there identity.

Its abit like showing everyone your arse, nce you show it everyone jnows who you are, thats of course if you hava nice arse to start with. 24 hrs is a a long time ban when you have to get it off your chest.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,668 ✭✭✭kay 9

 How will peoples identity be at risk as they are only showing their custom built firearms? I didn' see faces names as of yet. I personally think it happens to be a great thread;) Some lovely work and I'm sure the lads are glad to share their pride and joys with like minded folk.

He may have a small point, I was recognised from my rifle as it is Unique to me.

However only people who are members of the same range as me would know who i am, and it is no great secret.

I just don't want undesireables knowing where I exactly live, work, or what my security is.

I think everybody here is the same.
    I may forget a name, i never forget a rifle :D

I get where ye'r comin from but most the lads that see one anothers firearms at the range are mates or have no interest in givin out other lads privacy details and if they have, then they shouldn't have range membership. I get what yer saying tho tac. One never knows I suppose..

Thats it in a nut shell.
The shooting community is very small, the rifle community smaller and the pistol community smaller.

I have never been in a dealers yet who would tell me who used to own a rifle that was up for sale, or who owns a rifle that is been worked on.

    It's a code of ethics.
Most on here try to be as vague as possible.

I also try not to give away too much.
I have never taking a picture of a boards member and posted it, nor will I.

However Joe soap does not know what the difference between a remington and a howa or CZ is.

I can't see the harm once places are not easily recogniseable or people are in the frame.

Not that I am camera shy, folk on here want to see rifles, not Ugly Mugs.

Thats why I started a thread a few weeks back on heater laCroix
So folk could see nice rifles and a nice person using them
