Cyclingnews spoke to the Katusha team, who confirmed events: "He is in Zurich hospital and he’s having more tests. He is okay. He had a good nights rest. He is awake. Now we just have to wait for more tests."

cant see why the mods let this crxp go on , its turning me off the forum ,if your going to accuse some one of doping ,put a link up to the proof .

It's not unusual at all, given the amount of stress proffesional athletes put on their bodies. Sure wasn't there a spate of seemingly fit young men dropping dead last year from SADS in the GAA, some of which turned out to be heart related.

Been updated to say he's now in a medically induced coma.. doesn't sound good at all.

After a heart attack your heart is weaker so the chances of him being back in the peleton are slim, hope he pulls through ok, not a nice way to end your career.
