Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I've had a Canon 1000D now for the past month or two. The first thing I've been really looking forward to snapping shots at is a big gig coming up. I haven't really brought it to any such events so far and to be honest I'm kind of wary of doing so. I just wanted to enquire about peoples opinions on bringing a digital SLR to a gig. Bad idea or not? Anyone had any problems doing so before in terms of theft or the like?

    Thanks for any advice available.
    Danny.

Certain venues will not let you in with a DSLR. FYI :)

might want to get this moved to just the photography forum. Won't get much traffic in photo exepiditions.

Have never been to Marley but I know Croke Park, Olympia, Punchestown and the RDS all will not allow you in with a DSLR even the larger point and shoots are not allowed it. Generally the rule is a camera with no larger then 1" lens.

Might be a bit late but NO you won't be allowed to bring any Photographic or recording equipment into the Green Day gig - it says so on MCD website!

As my GF points out - but my phone does both!
