Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

damn why am i starting every page now? also who cares about brock? all i'm hoping for is carwin pulling a tito-esque t-shirt stunt after he ends brock

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 256 ✭✭cactus jack

american tv is actually better for ads during live events as normally the pull back shots of the arena is when they throw there ads & it's a quick fire 'ufc is brought to you by 1,2,3,4,5,6,7' end ad break

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 23,089 ✭✭✭✭rovert

    also who cares about brock?

About 1.6 milllion PPV Buys + me

Just hope his interview isnt an awkward pre-recorded one.

oh, let's see brock beat up another person about 3/4 stone lighter than him curse out a beer company for not supplying him & then take another tummy bug holiday. whoop de doo. yes he's looked impressive, yes he has the pro wrestling fans behind him, but i really expect him to get found out against carwin & have to say some mma fighters use the pro wrestling style promo well but lesnar just pissed me off with his. sorry but unless he dominates carwin & wins well i still won't buy him as a legit champ

    damn on another page start

also first time for me seeing a girl ref, is it just me or is it simply because it's a female that she's more visible than normal male ref?

    yes please :D loved that!

ffs the man had a life changing illness too, not a "tummy bug"

Coin toss Siver/Fisher. I'd say it'll be a split decision, both fighters getting 2 rounds to 1.

    Shane Carwin's Twitter.
Chris Camozzi dislocated his shoulder twice in the fight

He wasnt fast tracked he asked to be put in the deep end. There is a difference.

Brock wanted to fight in November sorry if he got sick.

Brock would destroy him in the rematch if that happened like the last guy.

Bit harsh deducting a point for something that was clearly accidental. And Herb didn't even see it as he was bending down to pick up the mouth piece.

Was a mixed bag of fights, happy to see Court win.

They didn't mention that wec was tonight at all? That should be a cracker!!!

I really like Yagers style, unpredictable and very fast, shame he lacks the heart and a gas tank.

Siver annoying me with those snap kicks, constantly using em and like 5% of them landing? Whats the point.

Glad to see Court win. I bet Florian was told to bring up Court's "past" in the questioning to envoke a reaction, looks like it worked

    What's the problem with that?
Anyone who beat a heroine addiction and then go on to win the ultimate fighter deserves a lot of recognition.

Totally agree. I'm glad Court won. McGray can get there anyway with hard work and perseverance.
Court has gained a lot of respect from me, I've seen how heroine affects people and their families and it is one of the hardest things a family or individual can go through.

just finished watching it and i just cant believe jardine
    lost that one
i never considering losing my money on that one at all
though the point cost him dearly but i still thought
    he would finish hamill
fair play to mc gee, i hope he goes far
you'd miss rogan bigtime and although
i respect kenflo, i dont think hes much
    good at commentating.
He's knowledgeable but hes no replacement for rogan
heard frank mir commentating recently (might have been wec)
    and he was excellent also

I also prefer Mir to Florian. Florian is overrated as a commentator in my opinion.

Didn't cost him anything on the result side. He still would've lost on a split decision without it.
Only thing you can say is maybe he had to chuck the game plan out for the rest of the second to try get it back which caused him to take more damage.

Yeah regarding the Jardine vs Hamill fight, IMO Jardine won the first round 10-9, Hamill won the second 10-8 due to one point deduction for the eye poke, and the two takedowns in the third round won it for him 10-9. Even without the eye poke as the previous poster said would've still been a split decision in favour of Hamill. I'd say Jardine will be cut now with Strikeforce his likely destination.

as seifer said the fact he had to change his gameplan with the deduction
meants tactics went out the window and i think only for that it would
have been a ud for jardine
i dont know what happens now for jardine...i reckon theyll give him
    one more fight myself
its a shame really given how many wars hes been and hes matched
the best fighters out there until recently which is why i fancied him
bigtime given how hamill has never beaten a big name (other than
    the bisbing farce)

Anyone notice the dent/lump (can't tell which) on hamill's back????

Edit: Google says Staph infection

It is. How the NSAC commission allowed him to fight amazed me.

I think there is some stipulation he got under. Something about medication but I am not 100% sure.

Yeah i agree fair play to him, what i mean was that it seemed like if was mentioned for he sole purpose of getting a reaction out of him in his emotional state just after being in a fight
