Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I reckon the Ivory Coast could get a draw here,Brazil were disappointing against North Korea and If Ivory Coast are organised in defence they could furstrate the Brazil attack and i could see this match ending in a 0-0 draw.

    2-0 to Brazil, imo.

I'd say 2-1 Brazil, but hope I.C pull off a win or a draw

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,435 ✭✭✭✭redout

Ivory Coast could well sneak something from this.

Brazil didnt look great against the Koreans and a better side would have taken points.

Hoping for a Brazil -v- Spain last 16 tie :D

Ivory Coast didn't loook great either against a sh!t Portugese team.

I can see nothing but a Brazil win here.

Looking forward to this one, but IC weren't great against Portugal last week.

    I'm gonna go for 2-2 though. :D

    2-0 to Brazil.

    5/2 the draw.

Not bad - could be worth a punt.

I see Portugal tried to appeal Ronaldo's yellow and got rejected by FIFA.

    4-0 brazil

    Chauffe, Marcel, chauffe!

Brazil don't look great when they don't have to. They didn't look great against N Korea because they only needed the points. I'd say they'll cruise to an easy victory

I reckon this could be a boring 90 mins. 2-1 brazil with a few hairy goalmouth moments along the way.

Aye, two holding midfielders is odd for a Brazilian team. Interesting should they meet Spain as they will face a side who will have more of the ball than they will. How will they react to that ? Its gotta be factor as they always play with the lions share of the possession. A counter-attacking Brazil ?

ivory coast are playing some good stuff

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,435 ✭✭✭✭redout

10mins in and Brazil dont look very good.

Ivory Coast look the more comfortable.

Kaka has been a letter short of his full name in this tournament so far from what I've seen of him.

    Kaka

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,906 ✭✭✭SarahBM

brazil back four dont look solid IMO.

Coast to score the 1st goal I reckon.

WTF....Drogba's free kick now has snow on it.

More evidence of this new ball screwing up free kicks.....has one been scored yet?

foul on Kalou! come on!!! brazil are going to get away with murder!

    Drogba firing over. seriously!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,954 ✭✭✭LeeroyJones

Brazil will want to step it up a few gears, still plenty of time of course. They really need to win this. If Brazil fail to win and Portugal beat N Korea by more than 1 tomorrow, Portugal can play for a draw against Brazil in order to qualify and eliminate Brazil (assuming Ivory Coast beat N Korea by more than 1 also)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,178 ✭✭✭_Bella_

Kaka is being very easily dispossesed!

Brazil are fouling far too much and Ivory Coast are bound to get a goal from a set piece soon

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,398 ✭✭✭MIN2511

Guys, what's with the Brazil captain? That was a proper argument with the ref....
