Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

It's always interesting to see a new panel member slotting into the RTE line-up. Takes them a couple of matches to suss it out and realise they can actually say what they believe is happening and not just the Sky Sports platitudes. Ossie and Hamann were both quality.

I liked Ossie. He seemed to have a different view of the football world - the South American background to his analysis made a nice change. Dapper gent too.

Bill: Do you think there's an argument that England should have an English Manager?
    Ossie: Iwelebant.

Once you get used to the accent he's one of the best pundits out there imo. Insightful, to the point and, most importantly, none of the old tired clichés.

To be fair nothing will ever beat Bill's "And to think they said you were anti-Irish Graham" to Souness on his last night at the last World Cup.:pac:
Completly missed that. When was it? Bill is such a sh1t stirer, love it. I can't read that without Bill's accent.

He's been the best pundit out of rte, beeb, itv & sky this world cup. Just have to get used to his voice. Really gonna miss him.

He's A panel material. 100 times better than Ronnie "lick John & Eamon's arse" Whelan thats for sure.

Ya he was the best panelist so far. He knows his stuff too unlike the rest of them who only know the EPL players.

I love Ossie " Berry Berry " Ardilles. He adds a sense of culture to the table. I really enjoyed what he had to say about Maradona when Giles asked him if he was crazy. He spoke really well and was a very nice touch before the Arg v Chile game. He's an incredibly likeable man imo, and I have actually understood almost everything that has come out of his mouth.

Himself, Hamann and Seedorf have been my favourites this time around.
