Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Coil tapping

    Can you coil tap a normal HH les paul, and if so, what's the best way to do it and how much is it? I'd be interested in it just for more tonal variety.

    The main issue is the pickups, if they have 4 wires coming from each then its fairly straight forward. If there's only two then you're outta luck bar getting new pickups

    Right just looking at it right now with the cover off. There are black, blue and red wires, as well as thicker grey ones with wires inside them if you know what I mean. I might put a pic up

    You need a way to switch to coil tap.....as in a push/pull pot or maybe 2. Pickups need to be 4 wire also.
