Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I've seen bi turbo R32s in action in the flesh and there are very very few cars on the road that would live with one,the guy in the BMW took that well to be honest.

    I seen a guy in a turbo'd 3.2 mk3 destroy an RS6 on the strip in england,the RS6 owner wasnt impressed lol :D

Why the animosity towards the bmw driver? I thought he was very good humoured about it from start to finish!

He is good natured but he sounds like a total dick.
The car he was driving was nothing special and he was carrying on like it was a Veyron,
which again makes him a dick.

^ Yeah I can see that too.

He fancied his chances with the Golf, little did he know what was powering the thing. Class tbh :)

    515BHP FWD

    4 wheel drive isn't it?

    515BHP FWD

    R32 is 4wd.
515BHP to the front wheel would probably just end up in monumental torque steer! The Focus RS with its 300bhp engine and a fancy trick diff still torque steers like mad. Image what would it be like for 500bhp going to the front wheels...

Surely that kind of power would chew your transmission up though?

Someone who went to the bother of building an engine like that, would most definitely have a forged gearbox and a clutch to match.

golf is an animal by all means, but why bmw driver choose that particular golf... looks like it was done on purpose....

thought that didnt change the fact that golf is really savage yoke to move.

He chased after it, he probably saw it going real fast before the start of the video.

The 6 speed box in the mk4 V6's is well able for circa 500bhp in standard guise, the weak point is obviously the clutch and flywheel, both of these are able for around 300/310bhp.
