emo would be a good one park the car up at the court and run on out and around the woods its a lovely run or go out to garryhinch woods or corrig is a steep run but also enjoyable

Depends on what you want Gareth. There are loads of nice runs you can start right from your doorstep. Short run... all footpath = Around the block = Down station rd, left at Odlums, down Canal Rd, left again, up Bracklone st. left again and home. Think about 3km. Corrig is a much nicer short run though, from Castlegate up through Corrig and back is just under 5km. Its hilly, but great in this weather. Or if you want to go further, skip the entrace to Corrig, take the Next left and just keep running out that Country Road until you hit grounds of Emo and turn around again.. about 9km, no paths but hardly any traffic either. The heritage also have a walking trail around their grounds and there are plenty of different routes around the House & Forest in Emo as well.
