Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

It's been a while since I sold a bike. Where's the best place these days to advertise one for sale?

    Cheers..

So no one-stop-Carzone-type shop where you can find out what you should be pricing at..

    Thanks for the heads up

Done Deal. That is by far and away the best one for bikes without question at the moment.

I love Donedeal. Having said that, both myself and my wife think I'm now addicted to it. I just surf it for hours a week. How many bikes do you reckon are actually sold on the site (compared to the sheer number of non-buying, 'tire-kicking' views included on it)?

I put mine on donedeal a few months ago and practically had my arm bitten off! I tried the usual bikebuyersguide and autotrader.ie when I was looking for a replacement bike, but tbh there was fook all on them and the few bikes that were there were from dealers looking for crazy money. What makes a Dublin dealer think he's going to get 60% more for a high mileage bike that I can get in Antrim with lower mileage?

If it wasn't for the post counts we'd probably all look like donedeal employees in disguise.....
