i have the same ambivalence to armstrongs comeback as i do to schumacher's (in F1), i really dont think he's brought anything to the party when it comes to cycling in general (he may have livened the tdf for a bit but i watch a lot more cycling than that.


Pretty fair odds list that couldnt disagree with much in there (although i think thats the odds on cavendish finishing this year)

Couple of things on this. I think people need to forget last seasons results to determine his performance this year. Last year he did very well and could have had a stage or two victory had he not broke his bo***x defending the yellow early on.

This year however he is coming back from injury in a not overly great year for him. It's going to be difficult but being the leader of the team now I do fancy him for a stage win. Not the tour obviously but maybe a stage.

i've got eurosport player this year but might record itv4 to watch at home, apparently they are showing very stage live thiu year (according to advert last night)

actually forgot TG4 streamed it last year and it was ione of the most reliable feeds i saw

Watched the team presentation last night. Have to say Cadel Evans came across really well, I'll definitely be rooting for him. Armstrong also came across well, seemed to be in geat mood but vey open talking about stress and neves. Wiggins appeared condescendingly snotty as usual. Roche talked funny, as usual. And the Europsort commentator would seemingly like to apply Vinokourov's bum vaseline as he appeared to be so in love with the cheating ****.

pull out your sky card ? reboot sky box (dont need any other channels while tour is on !) must admit havent tried it without a card (i have a uk viewing card from when channels were ecrypted)

Motor sports on right now so can't judge the audio. Your HD box has a setting in the TV settings menu for HDTV audio synchronisation to offset any sync issues with TVs.

Am rightly pissed off when i saw that this afternoon.Upc viewers have only got ITV 4 in the last 6 months and i was so looking forward to watching it on itv4.I have eurosport but sean kelly reminds me of ardiles,muttering away ,cant understand him half the time.Its such a waste having it on TG4,how many tour de france fans can speak fluent irish.I would rather TG4 didn,t show it,if that meant could watch it on itv 4 :mad::mad::mad:.Out of interest those who have itv4 on free sat nav,could you tell me if its blocked.

I have a UPC Digital+ box in one room and in the other room a Freesat box linked to a satellite dish on the back of the house.

ITV4 was giving the "Not Available in the Republic of Ireland" message on the UPC box and displaying a black screen. The Freesat on the other hand was getting ITV4 just fine.
