Yes. There are no projects so no problem apart from all the extra reading.

Does anyone have any advice on the subject? Difficulty, course content etc....

One of the most difficult subjects you can do. Interesting, but the exam is a cruel beast.

Well I have no problem with the work load could easily start now (I'm heading into 6th year btw)
But is the course doable in the 1 year without a teacher or class to go to.

Yes. Very doable, just be careful what topics you pick.

And be careful looking at the past papers because from 2011 you'll do 6 questions in the exam rather than 8

    Thanks.

Is anyone doing it for the leaving cert this year ?
What topics/questions are you all doing and what are the best books to get?

    Greek Drama
    Plato
    Greek art and architecture.

Yeah same topics man, there is like 10 divided into 3 groups. You answer on one topic from each group, then one other, although I believe that is changing for next year.

There are a million different books. I have about 10. It depends on what topics you do, there is no one book that covers it all.

it sounds like it is. wish my school actually offered it as a subject though be a lot handier.

You can do it yourself it is quite easy. The Greek drama topic literally is reading 2/3 plays of about 40 pages each, then answering a quite easy question on it. Easier than drama in English class. Literally all of it is just reading.

Well it doesnt sound to bad but is it hard to get a good grade in ?

I will let you know when I get my results! But with the exam changing so you have to do less questions I say it will be easier next year than this.

Haha fair enough. I might just pick it up anything is better than art.
