Baby Props

I am looking for some baby props - like the ones in the link here, lovely elf type knitted or crocheted hats to use when photographing newborns and young babies. I have no problem with using American sites but would prefer to use someone within Ireland (keep it local) - if anyone can point me in the right direction I would be VERY grateful.

could only find one irish seller on etsy - gap in the etsy market out there for any irish knitters/crocheters*.

*is crocheters a word?

I was looking myself for these recently, there are a few on ebay although I got my mother to knit me a few hats, she still hasnt quite got her head around this style though, the one she did wasnt even half as long as in the image you linked.

Thank you for your replies so far...I've put a shout out on the ARTs and Crafts page calling all knitters to unite and hopefully we might get someone to do these.

Any further suggestions are greatly welcome.

There's a few knitters in my place I can ask they'd prob charge up to 20 a hat but I'll ask, they knit on order for babies cardis and that.

I got an irish knitter to knit two of these for us. We use them all the time.
she's at scattyhats.com but I've just seen her site is under construction and I don't have and email address for her. If you like I could get in touch with her for you.

Look on etsy for "funkyhooker" she crochets hats, very reasonable rates, if you tell her you are a photographer and order 2 she will give you one free. The three I bought from her are below, they are great.

One of the ladies here in work has agreed to make one for me as a test so if it goes well I'll let you guys know, I'd more than likely order a few colours from her them.
