Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm surprised Germany didnt let Ghana equalize late in the game in order for them to go into the easier side of the competition with finishing second in the group.

We got the easier side of things. England and then the winner of South Korea / Uruguay.

The ITV commentator said something like this earlier:

"the last time Germany went out of the World Cup in the first round was in 1938.......of course they had other things on their minds!"
    Disgraceful is'nt it.

Fk! I just double checked this and I'm wrong. Ah well at least no one can accuse us this time to sneak through the easy route into the final.

Germany possibly have to beat England, Argentina and Brazil just to get to the final. Bring it on! :)

I'd fancy the Ghanans against the US but they just can't seem to score in open play...! They could definitely stop the US from scoring so I can see it going to extra time

They create so many chances though, they HAVE to take one of them eventually. I want to see more of Dominic Adiyiah, the young striker who's been brought on a couple of times so far in the tournament. On the books at AC Milan and he looks like a very good prospect indeed.
