Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

does anyone know of anywhere that rents out Garmin Edge (not really bothered what model)? I'm doing the Etape du Tour next month and would really like to record my effort so I can relive the pain at a later date.

I have a Forerunner 405 and I get about 7 hours of battery from it. Pretty sure the Etape's going to take a bit longer than that.

    cheers
    cj

You could rent mine from me if you want, nice and cheap :) (say a bit of a deposit to cover breakages/you running off with it)... it's a 705.

    PM me if you're interested.

Maybe by changing the display setting to see a lighter screen, your battery will run longer? I recently darkened the display and noticed the battery doesn't last as long on my 305.

Also consider an auxiliarry battery like a Powermonkey. There are also tiny ones that take an AA. But if you can borrow a 705 that would be neatest. 305 battery is around 10 hours while the 705 is around 15.
