Warriors Run & Half Marathon Log

I decided to start a new log to give me a bit of motivation to get out running.
I've entered into the Warriors Run, this will be the 2nd time to do it, and hoping to do the Dublin Half Marathon in Sept.

I only started running last year, did a beginners running plan. I haven't really done much running this year, so I think it's time now!

I did a 10K in May and that took me 1 hour 14 mins, I ran almost all of it, but walked about 5 mins in total, with short walking breaks.

10 weeks to go until the warriors run, which gives me that time to get up to 9 miles in training, and then a few weeks to further the miles for the Half Marathon.

I'll be using the Hal Higdon Novice plan:
    http://www.halhigdon.com/halfmarathon/novice.htm

    I think I'm mad!

This weeks long run, 4 Miles, non stop, pretty proud of myself I might add!

I should prob add that I do Martial arts twice a week, so I'll be changing the schedule to work around my week.

    So far the plan is:

    Monday- Martial arts
    Tuesday- Run
    Wed- Run
    Thurs- off
    Friday- Martial Arts
    Sat- Long run
    Sunday- off

I'm just hoping 3 runs a week will be ok as my Martial arts class is a serious fitness workout.

If anyone sees anything wrong with the way I organised the week, please let me know :)
