Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

C&C 1st Roll of Film with Canon EOS 50 (analog)

    Ok so I took the plunge into film camera's and got myself a refurbished good as new Canon EOS 50 film camera. As my 17-85mm EF-S lense is no good for this cam I also got a used EF 28-80mm f3.5 / f5.6 MkII lense with it (and can of course also use my 70-300 EF lense with it.

    For my 1st roll of film I got a cheap 200 ISO supermarket brand film and also had it developed by the supermarket and I think I'm regretting both :)

    I also have some Ilford PAN 400 (B&W), Ilford Delta 100 (B&W) and Kodak Colorplus 200 film in the bag.

    Some advice and constructive comments are always welcome, especially regarding film.

    Dimy,
    I like # 2 the most, colour comes out well, nicely composed and the subject is interesting.
    Sky is burnt out in 3, which I find a bit off putting in a portrait, but maybe thats just me.


    The image quality is on a par with what I get with my film camera, fuji film centres scan to about 1800 by 1200, which is nowhere near the resolution limit of a bit of film, but if you get a good one, you can always rescan.
