The headlines tomorrow will be all about the linesman and his address, phone number, family names.

Then there will be a guideline on how to use your anger.

Really surprised at how Rooney has underperformed at this WC. I hope it's just down to his injury problems and that he can be back to his best by August.

Really don't think England are going to do anything until they find themselves a few footballers with brains.

John Terry is particuarly culpable here, he seems to think being brave is enough.

England should be embrassed. Lacking basic football skills. Just shows how over hyped and overpaid PL players are. England have been well and truly dismantled.

I think the amount of foreign players in the PL does detract from the England squad tbh. Young players don't get the same chances they used to.

oh dear...the defence has been terrible but germany may well have not scored that 3rd goal if lampards goal was given...sepp bladder, i hope you go bald...now

I feel sorry for Peter Crouch...complete waste of time sending Heskey on...
I mean wtf is Crouch doing during training..sleeping on the side while Heskey blows Capello? ???
I cannot fathom some of his team choices...bloody ridiculous..

Is it true that you cannot buy beer there on a Sunday, that should save some hassle in the evening at least.

From BBC: We're told the referee, on seeing images of the Frank Lampard shot that crossed the line, said: 'Oh my God'."

I hope Germany get a 5th now, Looking forward to Germany and Argentina already, good enough for England really they could have beaten the USA and Algeria easily and they'd have taken Ghana last night handily then.

In fairness they could of taken this team but they where forced to press in the second half leaving them exposed at the back.

England have been completely decimated here.

    Out-classed in every department.

It's not short of an embarrassing for England.

Ozil is pure class. Would love to see him at United. Fantastic talent.

Even allowing for his injury at the end of the season, your own Rooney has been awful, very disappointed in him and the likes of Gerrard

But they didn't. Hard as it is to stomach, we've failed abysmally in terms of winning and in terms of entertaining.

That was a cracking save from Neuer there. Gerrard does well to get into the box and manufacture a chance.

I think the foreign players in the premiership only up the bar and help English players. They still get the chance to break through at smaller clubs etc and work their way up

all went down hill when cole came on, he hasn't a defensive thought in his mind

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,405 ✭✭✭Lukker-

God, if England had an anyway decent DM so many of the German counter-attacks could have been stopped so easily. Barry's had a stinker. Oh well, another legitimate call for goal line technology and the final score shouldn't take away from that it's an absolute disgrace.

I'm saying you don't have to watch the J-League/La Liga/Bundesliga to know that A. Cole and Wayne Rooney are world class. It is apparently obvious from their ability that they are top drawer players who would most likely walk into any team in the world.
Your saying you watch every league going before you make a judgement on who is world class and who isn't?

So your saying Rooney and Cole aren't one of the better player in the world in their position?

    WHAT WAS THAT??:D

Yeah Rooney has been awful. But the formation isn't built around Rooney which doesn't suit him at all. He's got to be tired after his season as well.

No matter what the excuse he has been terrible.

There's something very attractive about this German team - young players showing their potential to be even better.

It's disappointing for England, but probably not as disappointing as it would be to be slaughtered by Argentina.

    1. You know, man for man, no-one will never, ever convince me that this Germany team has this much more ability in it than the England one. But the likes of Wayne Rooney, Steven Gerrard and Gareth Barry just haven't turned up. It's hard to fathom why.
    idiots

Makes a mockery of Lampards comment that finishing 2nd is a good thing cos they get an extra days rest. And he's supposed to be one of the few intelligent footballers
