I bought a pair of expensive football boots at the end of April but having worn them just a couple of times I am not happy with the fit and am getting sore feet so I was wondering if I can return them.

The boots are not scuffed or worn in any way, they look as new.

I still have the receipt, do I have any right to a refund for them at all?

Sorry am clueless when it comes to consumer affairs.

Nope you're not entitled to anything. There's no fault with the product so you're not entitled to anything there, it was up to you to check the fit before purchase. Aside from that, you've worn them so they'd hardly take them back over a bad fit. Plus most shops have a 30 day returns police except in the case of faulty items.
