Oh god not this again.... The oil nonsense. It's not about oil. If it was they could just invade oil reserves in other places in the world. The wars in Iran and Iraq are not oil wars. For god sake already.

If it was really about Oil, WW3 would have started already, because China would not allow USA to invade it for that reason. It is also not about WMDs in Iran That lie was sold in Iraq. Do people not get it already.

This war is about a war that has been going on since the beginning and before this civilization.

Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan and Tibet is on a natural startgate. It's an ancient ground of many relics and many other secrets most of humanity cannot fathom.

This oil and gas argument is just a distraction for the most part. We all know it's handy to steal a few billions barrels of Oil while we totally bomb this **** out of these countries. It's a cool thing to do apparently since nobody seems to mention this fact that the west has ALWAYS been sucking recources dry in every country they invade.

The point about Iran here it's not just about "the oil or the money". Since Iran is a very risky war to start with. America just would not go to the bother of spending the last 12 years gearing for this Iran war if it was just about oil...

Let's not forget Iraq wasnt about oil or WMDS..

So it's really a matter of people getting real with this now.

If your contention is that the US is invading because the Iranians are religious fanatics then you are mistaken.
Don't forget that the U.S. had no problem training and supporting the likes of Bin Laden and his cohorts in Afghanistan when it was occupied by the old Soviet Union.
It has nothing to do with religion.

Your post was directly pointing at that as being the reason.

Secondly if you're not happy with people disagreeing with your posts, then you shouldn't post.

That one reason you gave would mean that US should also invade Saudi Arabia, UAE, and other allies who also practice this sharia law.

But you think because they do this to their own citizens that the US can blow sh1te out of EVERYBODY in Iran including future stoning victims.
What type of fukked up reason is that?.
Stoning a woman to death is wrong, blowing mutiple families to pieces is also wrong.

Anyway uprising2 and your sort, who are your ideal countries, who would you like to see counter the US? And why do you hate the US so much more than any other country? I don't get it, they've committed crimes, but so has almost every country that has ever existed

I don't hate the US but they need to get their own house in order. The political system neglects the people and serves criminals, interest groups and corporations and ****s over the general public. The main problem I have with America is that they are the single superpower in the world and have the capability alone to make the world a much better place, much better than pre 911 but the power is used for evil in attempts by a neocon/zionist alliance to control the whole globe and annihilate anything that they don't control either directly or by proxy.

It would take a long post to answer this fully and I'm going to bed so I'll make it short, basically the USA is run by very dark deceitful people, and I'm not talking about Obomber's skin colour.
I take it you have a mainstream view of America?, like you get all your American news etc from respectful sources such as CNN.
There is so much american secret history, secret societies, secret operations that never get light of day from these same respectful sources.
They are evil mass murdering scum, this is not the mainstream view of the USA, but it is the truth, I grew up believing USA were the good guys, then was wide eyed as I discovered what really went on behind the scenes.

Honestly I'd advise you to look deeper into america's past, how they say it happened and compare it to how it really happened.

    Example:
Vietnam, almost 5 million total dead.
Started on a lie: Gulf of tonkin

    The lie: http://www.history.navy.mil/faqs/faq120-1.htm

Pendleton is a training base. You expect all training to stop, or training normal to their operations to all of a sudden signal that they are preparing for the invasion of Iran? They still have to keep training going for Afghanistan and Iraq? But there is no massive buildup as occurred months before the 2nd Gulf War (Iraq II) happening at the US Marines' largest training camp. Our beach cities are not flooded with leathernecks on leave during the weekends as occurred during months before Iraq II. There are no massive US Navy fleet exercises off our Pacific coast when training and simulating a coastal invasion of yet another nation (e.g., Iran), which I can see from where I live. I don't have to Google. I live and play in those beach cities immediately north of Pendleton, sail and surf the Pacific, and live where I can see any US Naval activity off our coast. So have your fun with this thread, but as Cinful said, an American invasion of Iran (like the Iraq II invasion) is not happening before 2012 presidential elections. Obama wants to be reelected, and to start a 3rd war (in Iran) would be a political kiss of death for his second term of office.
Some more from a military wives forum, which also shows how ****ing ignorant and brainwashed Americans have become.
Consider the source? The "military wives forum" now represents all American views? Military wives are a small highly biased minority of American women that don't speak for all American women, and certainly do not provide support for your claim that "brainwashed Americans" are the norm in a population of 300 million, which is a broad sweeping ethnocentric generalisation. One thing I have learned since leaving Ireland over 4 years past is how diverse Americans are in their views, rather than ideological clones as depicted by statements such as these.

The only CT on this thread is the CT of CTs. What happened to the "within days" prediction on this thread? Weeks have already passed since it was posted? Soon it will be months? Then years?

When the US does not invade Iran "within days," or weeks, or months, or during 2010 midterm elections, or before 2012 presidential elections, where will this thread be? Long since forgotten, with of course yet another sensationalist CT to take its place on a different topic? Does anyone see the craic? ;)

Why don't you quit blowing smoke, and address the point I made.

You quoted two links that showed Iranian sharia law in action, which were supposed to back up your logic as to why the U.S. was going to invade Iran.

I posted that they have trained and armed people who are just as fanatical in Afghanistan during the occupation by the U.S.S.R. which was a valid counter argument.

Your reply did not address the point I made.
J***s ch**st WAKE UP stoning woman has nothing to do with Religion!!

All you have done there is read through my post to try and figure out a way to twist it out of context so you can inject your own arguement without actually addressing the real point!!!

    and thats just lazy!!!

I didn't state for one minute that America was bad, as per the quote above, secondly, I have never tried to dismiss any part of your post regarding the stoning of a woman be it for religious reasons or any other reason.

I didn't try to twist the context of your post in any way, I merely showed why I thought your idea lacked any real merit as it's a well known fact that the U.S. have armed and trained mujahideen rebels who were just as religiously fanatical as the Iranians.

Then you accuse me of being lazy. (more smoke)
Your having a laugh right??? you managed to completly gloss over my last post like it never happened, which is clearly the norm for this forum!!

Above: more smoke, your post had nothing to do with the point I made, so why would I address it ?
Im dissapointed, I tought better of you tallus, but you took the easy route...

    Yet more smoke....

I didn't take the easy route, I posted what I think was a valid argument to your post regarding the stonings.
Not one of your replies have thus far taken my point into consideration.

So, is there any danger of you addressing my original point that religious fanatacism does not play a part in the supposed impending invasion of Iran?

I take it you mean the americans forces are not ready for an attack?
It certainly looks like they are to me.
However the op did not say when they would attack only that they would be ready within days.It could be taken either way really lol
But that is by the by :)
What is the reason of sending lots of ships out if not to be ready to attack something.
Are we to believe it isnt Iran? Who else nearby would be a possible target for agression?

Chest thumping to influence policy (aka sword rattling). Teddy Roosevelt sent the Great White Fleet about the world early in the last century to do a bit of chest thumping. The Fleet was huge, and it attacked no one when it sailed about the globe. The US has been doing such ever since, with no intent of actually launching a major invasion of a country in most cases. Further, the ships you see when surfing the web today are not near enough to mount an invasion of a country the size of Iran. Logistical support to invade a nation like Iran has to have massive mobilization of sea, land, and air forces, which is not happening "within days," or weeks since this OP originated.

Before 2012 a war with Iran waged by the Americans is not likely, because Obama wants reelection. After 2012, who knows? The US has a history of warfare since its founding, regardless whom gets elected, or which party was in the Congressional majority (Republicans or Democrats). Iran is strategically located, and has the magic three letter word: OIL. Further, the US has a surplus of military aged youth with its Baby Boomlet, similar to the Baby Boom numbers it had during the Vietnam War, so maybe they will make war on somebody after 2012, but not before.

Well this is it, why do you think Obama's wishes to be reelected is so important? No matter what Obama wants, the US has a history of warfare regardless who gets elected.

Speaking at a conference in Waterford, Mr Ridge said intelligence services across the world were now working together like never before, which is essential in fighting the threat of terrorism.

Yes but that was a simpler time before Zio-Con infiltration of US politics, there was no wars for Israel because there was no Israel.

you'l have to stop viewing every "conspiracy theorist" as one. I never said anything about any kind of timeframe. But I knew it was likely as soon as Rahm Israel Emanuel, IDF volunteer and son of an Israeli terrorist was appointed chief-of-staff and Joe "I am a Zionist" Biden as vice president. Nail in the coffin was Hilarry's shameful grovelling to AIPAC.

American relations with Israel are quite frosty at the minute, Newsnight reported on it last week, at there lowest ebb in a long time. Obama also has engaged with Iran and taken a less hardline approach.

I know that doesn't suit the regular CT's on this, but it should be taken account of.

That the original conspiracy theory was proven false and the goalposts have been moved accordingly.

Lmao, this is getting hilarious now. It hasn't been disproven. They are going to invade Iran. They just need the sheeple to follow behind this war. They don't have a 9/11 false flag and other events behind them to pull it through. People are waking up fast. With the Iraq war causing so much anger in the general public it will be very hard to start the Iran war.

It will start, and posts such as your's and Blue Lagoon proves it will.

Totaly complete denial of the obvious here. The propaganda machine has never been as aggressive. I've had a screaming match with an idiot post leaving cert mate of mine about this. I was horrified to realise how brainwashed he is by the media propaganda on Iran.

In rare appearance, Cuba's former president, 82, analyses Middle East situation and says Iran will not be cowed by the US

Former president Fidel Castro speaks on Cuban television, the second time in less than a week that he has made a public appearance. Photograph: Reuters
The Middle East is on the verge of a nuclear war triggered by a US attack on Iran in the name of preventing the country from developing its own weapons, according to ageing Cuban revolutionary Fidel Castro.

"To do this on the basis of a calculation that the Iranians are going to come running out to ask the Yankees for forgiveness is absurd," Castro said. "They [the US] will encounter a terrible resistance that will spread the conflict that cannot end up any other way than turning nuclear."

The former Cuban president said Israel would throw the first bomb, but the risk that red buttons would also be pressed in Pakistan and India was latent.

Castro made the prediction on Cuban TV last night, in a dramatic return to public life after four years in near-seclusion.

"The US is activating the machinery to destroy Iran," he said. "But the Iranians have been building up a defensive force little by little for years."

This is rather disturbing news and more so hearing it from someone from the "other side" that suddenly comes out of the woodwork in such a long time. Dose Castro know something that the US / Israel dosent?

It would be of no surprise at all on the US / Israel making the first move on Iran and as Castro has stated, they do not know or expect what they are in for. The US has got itself into so many conflicts since WW2, could this be the big one yet?

Seriously, you're going to have to actually start reading threads soon. The original theory was that Isreal and American forces were going to attack Iran within days. The original post was made on the 26th June. Iran has not been attacked. Therefore the conspiracy has been proven false.

Now, an alternative scenario has been put in place that has the same events happening on a different timescale. So do you have anything else to add other than the usual LMAO, ROFL, BBYOB, ABD, YMCA     :pac: ?

Perhaps use your discernment Robtri, don't just go a long with anything other people tell you, you are a human being, not a sheep.

I don't personally care if this guy's a politician or a shape-shifting blancmange from Alpha Centauri - his words ring true to me ;)

Edit: in case you didn't listen properly, he's calling for peace. As a rough rule of thumb, that is a good thing I feel.

Stop being silly, not all politicians are "evil". Don't suppose you have anything intelligent to say about the video?...

And I suppose extreme stupidity does ...?

If you have an attention span of 5mins, please listen to what Ron Paul actually says. He explains the Iranian sanctions bill and its international ramifications in very comprehensible terms. Bassically, it is a declaration of war.

Oh come on, can't we all just be friends? At least get on with it a bit. What do you actually think of Ron Paul's analysis in that vid?

Well to be proper about it, in theory they have been at war since the hostage crisis. And certainly the rhetoric from both sides (almost all the time from the US, and without fail from Iran) would support this assertion.

In fairness you didn't point out the fact it was your post you were talking about. Point taken though is all good.
