Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    A couple of us talked about this in the Liveline thread (would Duffy move to 9am being the prompt for the below).

    The Sunday Times radio scribe had some thoughts that I agree with (not on-line sadly), he suggests moving Pat Kenny back to his old 9 am slot and then give the 11am - 1pm period a real shake up with a variety of show formats such as short dramas, comedy, general interest docs and so on. Obviously that won't happen as RTE are obsessed with famous names filling airtime not variety & quality.

    Its not the obvious place to look! :D

    I do hope Kenny is moved and then the 11-1 slot opened up for diverse programming but as I say above RTE are so damned lazy its hard to see it happening.

    very true.

    they'll probably give Ronan Collins an extra hour, but there's no place for music on RTE1 before 7pm I say!!

    Couldn't Gay Byrne come back to do a one hour show.He's on a big retainer to do nothing so maybe he could be persuaded to return to earn his dosh.To be honest nobody replaced him in that slot.
