    hi everyone,
I did search on this forum but I didn't find a subject interesting for my situation..
I recently got a merc bus 1992, I have rust and holes on the body. the engine is fine, the chassis seems ok but the body needs to be take care of ASAP !
What is the best way to approach the problem ? The rust is deep, I have holes (small but some big) at some parts.

What are the best steps to get a clean job done ?

my point of view would be : angle grinder (what disk do you recommend)
I need to cut some steel,
the primer I got is called 123zinc, any good ?
I can upload some photos if you want to !
and after primer some paint ! do I miss something ?

thanks to anyone with few minutes and some skill to share !

    mazz

If your gonna weld get yourself a surge protector to attach

to the earth and the battery, some fella's i know have welded

on cars and just disconnected the battery. But the cars ECU can

sometimes still get fried. Better safe than sorry.

That primer is very good, then spray over with waxoil, stop the rust

from return. Take your time and you'll be fine.
