kale requirements

    i just set kale for the first time yesterday, i stitched it in. what fert do i put on, its in a poor field, the adviser in coop is on hols, thanks in advance. legs

    I used to put out 3/4 bags 18/6/12 an acre followed by 1 bag of can a month after sowing. If you were ploughing you could have given the field plenty slurry to reduce amount of artificial fert.

    what variety did you put in?

    I got 3 acres still to do. Would prefer a bit more moisture though, ground still very dry round here.

    If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.
