Dress for wedding in August

Hi all, so I've been invited to a wedding in August and I've actually only been to two weddings. One which I was the bridesmaid so didn't have to worry bout what to wear and the other was only the afters and was years ago. Was wondering if some of you could share your wisdom with me?? I don't really wear strapless dresses…

Was wondering if some of you could share your wisdom with me?? I don't really wear strapless dresses tho because no matter how much I spend on strapless bras they still hurt me. I could prob go without a bra but i'd feel a bit self conscious so I'd prob prefer to be able to wear one. I'd love something different but don't have a huge budget but would welcome any suggestions??

I am getting the purple one and wearing it to a wedding the end of August, I can't wear halterneck so I am turning it into a criss cross back, either way you should be fine with just stick on cups!!!!
