    thinking of heading to the north to get a new car

    is it worth it ??

    ie a 2.0 diesel , people carrier like the ford kuga

    how is it calculated

    Are you just heading up north because everyone else is, or have you done any research at all?

    Certainly sounds like there has been no research at all........................

    He is right.. you need to factor in VRT and VAT if it is new.. chances are the net price differnce is close to zero. Plus if you buy in the North you'll be handing over a big chunk of tax the UK!

    go north my good man! i got a 2l turbo diesel there,the co2 emissions(for my car) wernt on the vrt website so i paid 1,002euro to clear it and still got a bargain. the co2 emissions will be on the log book. the lower the emission the lower the vrt. pm me for a heads up on where your thinking of going. best of luck.
