Solicitors re-qualifiying in Australia

Hey, I qualified as a Solicitor in Dublin last Jan 2010 and am looking to migrate & practise in Australia. Has anyone done the conversion exams? How long do they take and how much do they cost? I would be aiming to practise in Victoria. I know one or two people who did not need to re-qualify and simply commenced practising over there.. think they were in corporate though whereas I would be general practice.

Any information/ advice would be greatly appreciated from anyone who may have gone down or looked into this route.. Cheers!
