Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi people. Hands up, I'm a newbie to boards.ie. But deep breath, here goes! I have a 01 Renault Scenic, and the high mounted brake light (top centre of rear window) is no longer working. In order to check/change bulb's, 1st, I need to get into the thing. Cant figure out if the unit snaps out or how to access the bulbs. Of course I do have the manual . . . . . .Somewhere! Any suggestions?

My guess is that it unscrews. Are there any plastic panels that look as if they might pop out with the edge of a flat screwdriver?

    Edit: Googled it, found this:

On the older model scenic's you remove the two blanking plugs behind the high level brake light. Then you can see some metal clips that hold the light in position, using a long screw driver press on the clips to release them. the light them comes out and you can replace the bulb. refit the light and push on it enough for the clips to spring out and hold the light in place

    Thats the one Anan.

I knew there had to be some catch somewhere, it's actually quite easy, and the clips can be pushed with the key, but you defo need flat screwdriver to pop the caps/plugs!

    Thanks for the help!

    One Newbie. Satisfied!
