    when i was a child my grandad was putting mustard on his dinner. i asked him what it was and he told me it was ice cream and gave a spoonfull of it. i have not eaten mustard since.

    Mustard has its place. A well made vinigrette is proof enough of that. However for condiment ecstasy on a plate, few things beat Ballymaloe Relish :D

    I think mustard and ketchup go well together.

    Mayonaise and salad cream would be on opposite sides of any condiment war.
