Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Looking up the spec it's very low requirements but jesus you need like 14/15 gigs for it. Whopper of a game.

Here's the requirements which are extremely low. You'd be hard pushed to buy a computer that wouldn't run this.
1.0 GHz CPU, 256 MB RAM (for Windows XP SP2) or 512 MB RAM (for Windows Vista),
14 GB hard drive space (15 GB for Deluxe Version), DVD drive, 32 MB DirectX 9.0c compatible video card [1]
    From wikipedia.

    A bit misleading tbh.

While nearly any computer can "run" FSX, not many can run it well. Or even decently. Its an extremely demanding game. You need a very beefy processor and lots of RAM to help with the miles of scenery that needs to be rendered.

    Pretty demanding.

Apologies I've never played the game nor know what it's like i was going strictly by the minimum requirements.

Currently running FSX on a Core i7-950 with dual 5870s and 6GB of ram..
Runs flawlessly on it when patched upto FSX SP2..

I'd definitely recommend a Core i5/i7 PC for FSC..it's very CPU extensive..much more than graphics.
One video card would do (5850 etc) as it's not sli/xfire optimised...and get a shítload of memory :D
    Definitely above 4GB.
