This must be the most stolid and "yoeman-like" Dutch side in decades. Slovakia dissapointingly static as well, like they are waiting for the game to come to them.

Holland have been pretty poor to be honest. One long ball and a nice goal. That's it really, can't see them beating any of the other teams that have progressed.

Hope the second half is better. Slovak goal just to spice things up would be nice.

Not so sure...they have not really been under any pressure in any games, ok Japan a bit but not seriously stretched.

I think they are trying a new approach, of patient build up, in their levels through the tournament I mean, not actual game play.

They have been getting a lot of criticism in Holland for their style of play in this World Cup but I think they believe that they have played very attractively and lost in the past and time to change.

Kuyt is such a class act, the type of guy you want for big games. He doesn't panic there, just takes his time and instead of a risky shot he lays on the perfect pass.

mm.....I get a bit fed up with this. How many times did the Dutch cut open the Slovak defence. Why do pundits only focus on negative points.

There has yet to be a football defence yet in the history of football that has not been beaten by their attacking opponents, does not mean they are bad.
