Nokia E61 user password

    I have a mint Nokia E61 that I'd like to start using again. It was my backup phone for a long time and I'm seriously thinking of using it again because it wipes the floor with my iPhone battery wise.

    The problem is I set the phone security code and I can't remember it. I've tried a load of different things and two shops have told me they could remove it and then failed.

    Has anyone come across this before and is there a quick fix solution to remove or reset the password ?

    Were these phone network shops like o2 and vodafone?

    A mobile repair shop would be able to reset this for you for a small fee

    I tried 2 reputable ones at the weekend and neither could.

    Reputable what though?

    If you go to fonemenders or MPRC they should be able to sort you out. It might cost ball park €25
