Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Speaking of the FA cup final I've another bit of useless info to share, the large Arch structure over Wembley contains a number of rolled up Swedish flags placed there by builders obviously from Sweden.

Boyne Valley Honey has nothing to do with Louth or Ireland
    It's imported from abroad

I find this sly and don't like it at all

I saw a thread on it before

    http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055478780
The original Boyne Valley Honey is 100% pure honey blended from suppliers over Ireland. The flavoured honeys are blended from around the world.

    http://www.askaboutmoney.com/showthread.php?t=166550&page=2
Boyne Valley Honey is imported - only packed in Louth. I'm not running it down, use it on my porridge most mornings, just pointing out it's not Louth honey.

The original recipe for Coca Cola did indeed include cocaine.

    and it was green

and in reply to the above post about honey not being from louth, thats true. jacobs fig rolls are made in malta and tesco value strawberry jam is made by chivers

Ooh I thought of an actual fact that I wouldn't mind more people knowing - seagull is a disambiguation, there is no such thing as a seagull. they are all gulls, and then there are different types of gulls. the ones people probably refer to as seagulls are likely most commonly herring gulls. there are also black headed gulls and common gulls.

They've also been known to attack the heads of postmen in Edinburgh. They've always creeped me out a little.

The famous brown colour of coke was added to hide dirt and other impurities while it was being perfected by the creator. It remained because it became a distinct part of the brand.

Another honey fact, apparently if you have allergies hayfever etc, if you get a jar of locally produced honey and take this it will cure the allergy. Now I would take local honey to be in your own town county but given that Ireland is so small maybe honey from any hive in Ireland would do?????????????

Funny thing is, since I started using my granny's home made honey I haven't suffered from hay fever (which until then I would get every summer without fail).

Remote out of range? Point it upwards under your chin, your skull sends the energy further.

Want to sneeze but it's coming slowly, look at a bright light.

Next time you stay in a hotel and there's a nokia tv system, put in the code 2-2-1 down arrow, then ok. Free hotel porn.

To go directly to your floor in an elevator, even if other levels have been pressed, press the door close and your level button at the same time to go straight to your level.

Jordan's first F1 car, the Jordan 191 was originally called the Jordan 911. Porsche said that Jordan couldn't use '911', so Jordan changed the number of their car to 191.

As a result of that, Porsche gave Eddie Jordan a Porsche 911 car.

The bees are using the local pollen to make the honey. Depending on what flowers they take from the properties of the honey will vary slightly....

manuka honey---honey made from pollen from manuka flowers etc

Australia originally imported Camels from Saudi Arabia in the late 1800s. Nowadays due to a shortage of Camels in Saudi Arabia the Australians now export descendants of these camels back to the Saudies.

The Irish accent is considered the most attractive in Europe, if not the world.

The Donegal accent is the most attractive in Ireland.

The Brummie/Bermingham accent is considered the most unattractive.
