Warranty issue

    Guys

    I've bought two Philips tvs this year-

    A 42inch 7404 in January that I've heard no word on with regard to it's 3 year warranty (I bought a philips whirlpool washing machine around the same time and had the warranty card back from Philips Ireland within two weeks)

    A 32inch 5405 model - has this tv got a 2 or 3 year warranty? My receipt says 2 years but I thought it was 3 years. Can you let me know

    I'll look into the 42PFL7404 for you today - prob take a few days before they get back to me with an answer....

    The 32PFL5405 has a 2 year warranty.

    Apologies for the delay - Ash is on the case & we do have details of your purchases on our system so there is no issue and we WILL get this sorted for you - on The Whirlpool bit - Philips flogged Whirlpool over a decade ago and it is now a completely separate company.

    On the 5 series, Ash is right ALL Philips TV's now have a minimum of a 2 year warranty - at the moment we give all 7/8/9 series 4 year warranties.

    Thanks again and Ash will keep you posted when he has finished hassling the bods at Philips Towers on your behalf...

    I've emailed the sales info for your 42PFL7404H to Philips HQ so hope to hear back from them soon.
    As John mentioned we have record of the 3year warranty on our system, so dont worry, we can wave that in front of Philips eyes as proof!
