question about inserting link

    Here is something that puzzles me and would appreciate an explanation.

    When you click 'insert link' to insert the url the http:// is already there so if you insert the full link you have two http:// and have to delete one.

    Or should you only insert the link beginning with the www.

    http:// should be highlighted whereby if you were copying and pasting, you would overwrite the http://

    Otherwise you can just remove the duplicate http://
