Who was elected mayor and deputy mayor of the county today. Was not in a position to hear the wlr news this evening. Has the city a new mayor and deputy one as well. Is it as expected, Mary Roche.

labour cllr ger barron from kilmac elected unopposed as deputy mayor

I see the MAyor and Deputy MAyor are from different electorate areas. I think this is the way it should always be done. I know for the past two or three years they have come from the same electorate area.
