I am attending a summer program at Griffith College, as an international student from the US. I want to keep in touch with friends from home, but international calling charges are outrageous, and my current texting plan is like $.50 a text. My friends hate email -Any Suggestions???????????

try chimenow. If you register your e-mail they send you a number you can use to text to the US for free from a computer. I believe it’s only free for a trial (something like 4 months). I used it while I was on assignment overseas—great especially when all you have access to are internet cafes! i think the site is www.chimenow.com/int hope this helps!
