I'm not getting 7E at all. Is it a strong satellite? Seems my Vu+ doesn't see the arc in the same way that my TM6900 did - seems off kilter a bit (annoyingly, there doesn't seem to be an option to tweak dish left/right using USALS like there was with the TM).

Must get something sorted out, as I blame this for not getting 16E too well either.

88cm is booming it in m8, I twigged my dish with my Dreambox only about 2 weeks ago now and sats such as 7e and 16e which have been giving me serious issues have now been sorted.

Hi mate I'm in the west coast and my vu+ pulls in 7e and 16e perfectly even in bad weather using 90cm (triax td88 dish) try tweaking your usals settings on your weakest sat. I had to change mine from the official lon/lat for my location to get the best signal

I thinking of getting the Cyfra+ card for the EPL, with the benefit of some matches in HD. I currently have a Fortec Passion HD Receiver with a Conax CAM. Can I use my current receiver with this card? I just moved my dish to 13E.

Or is it better to buy the Cyfra+ Receiver?

    I appreciate the advice.

you actually have me stumped on this one, not sure if the fortec passion will do Seca mediaguard?

Perhaps a cam may help if you have a CA slot?

I have two CAM Slots on the Fortec Passion. I do not have a embedded option.

What CAM is required or what is the best option to receive Cyfra+ ?

I had also had a receiver with conax card reader and I tried it with my cyfra+ card but it would not read it and I had to buy another receiver.

An old matrix would do the jobby....

I'd say there is 3rd party software that would do it, but the truth is I've no knowledge either about Fortec and if they are even upgradable to open up with Seca cards.

Their must be someone on here with vast knowledge of these babies??

I was a Technomate man in my early years before switching to a DM.

Thats true, its a great option as a starter card or a cheap option, I'm now to use to very good pq and when I go back to have a look at 13e JSC, - it looks as like I'm looking at Art.

Is the transponder overloaded on 13e that they use?

A seca astoncrypt/Diablo/Dragon/matrix will all do the job.

Ive a seca cam here i used last year for Cyfra if you want it?

I think so. It should get better when they eventually remove that world cup channel.

Not gunna complain about it though. They show a sh*tload of quality stuff that I love to watch for a dirt cheap price.

Yes that World Cup channel when removed will improve things, or should really do I suppose.

It sure does - I cant see why they are advertising them both online and on their own satellite channels if it was not the case.
