I have bough plenty of stuff from Wizard over the years and never had anything but a great service - I think a few other lads on here got stuff too with no problems.

I wouldn't touch that DM100 though, for many reasons, not to do with the supplier though!

Me too, ive had plenty of stuff of them, not a bother.

I read some lads say that their site went down last year for several weeks and orders were never honoured. I checked at the time I read the comments and the site was definitely down. After reading that I certainly wouldnt be giving them any money.

Just on a side note (kind of): You are 100% protected in this event if you use a credit card to purchase your products. Credit Card companies will allow you to chargeback in the event of a company going out of business after you have ordered. This only applies to credit cards (some banks honour laser transactions too) and keeps my mind at ease whenever I am ordering.

I would always use a credit card rather than laser. My credit card company has been very good in times of reinbursment etc when needed (MBNA).

Honestly, Wizzard has been very good with me and a few other people localy.

Is it possible to watch EPL on Cyfra+ & listen to English radio commentary?
I would imagine there would be a delay from the radio to what I'm seeing, if so is away around it?

    Thanks
    DM

if you have a five live feed from astra 2 (Sky), then you can feed that through a laptop or PC and delay it using a small free programme called radio delay. Output the delayed audio into an amp.

Or you can time shift the football picture.

There might be legal issues with you showing any premiership games in a pub/bar to the public if you aren't paying Sky's publican subscription. There was a big crackdown on this in the UK over the last while as Sky have the sole rights to broadcast the Premiership games in the UK and Ireland. Technically and legally in fact, the likes of Cyfra+, Tring, Abu etc all only have the rights to broadcast within their own jursidiction. Showing this matches in Ireland will make you liable to action from Sky.

Whether this ever happened in Ireland or not is another issue, it certainly did happen in the UK with large fines dished out!

This all assumes you are in Ireland! If your bar is outside Ireland/UK then you may be grand!

Well, he sure wouldn't be the first pub in Ireland having a foreign subscription!

Since he's already paying Sky their wadge....

I know! But there are a lot less now than there were. At one stage, a few years back, a lot of bigger pubs near me had Saturday games. I don't know one pub that does it now, not saying there aren't any, but there must have been some crackdown.

My local pub just got a letter about subscription price rises, its horrific what pubs have to pay now. If it wasnt for the racing then they would get rid of it.

wait till its confirmed that tring have all the epl games before buying a card.

The tring website just has the epl fixtures on the website, doesnt say anything about showing all the matches. The person who is saying they will have all the matches (Darkman from the alsat forum) is a known bull****ter and he wont give a damn if tring show no 3pm as he'll have his cards sold already.

Be aware that you could get stung to pay duty/VAT on stuff from that site, as he's based in Jersey.

Not necessarily saying you will get stung, but there'd be a fair chance.

You should have got Al Jazeera for the other leagues, 100€ for 8 sport channels and 1 HD!

Al Jazeera have everything apart from EPL.

There's only 3-4 Bundesliga matches on FTA TV per season.

OPENING Friday game(not the Friday game every week).
    Relegation playoff 2 legs
and I think the first match after the league returns from the winter break is on FTA.
    All on ARD.

I actually thought there was more than that, cheers for the reply.

They even show two different matches on saturdays and sundays on Sports1 and 2. But you'd need a 1.1m dish, at least, to pick it up.
And yes, Oatesy23 is right. Only 4 matches on national tv. Plus some cup matches.
DSF (or Sports1 Germany these days) is only showing 2.Bundesliga on monday nights.

    Btw.
Next sunday 1.30 Sat1 and Setanta Ireland are showing the
Borussia Mönchengladbach-Liverpool FC match live from Borussiapark,
to mark the 110 years anniversary celebrations and the long friendship of two very special clubs.
