Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Wireless

Hey, I don't like to waffle on so I'll put this in simple terms.

My house owner changed to UPC from eircom, and ever since the wireless has been terrible, the signal strength is 'ok' you could say, but it just keeps dropping every 20/30mins for just a few seconds but it disconnects anything you're doing, like any on-line gaming.

My question is, could this be a signal strength issue, or is it something deeper than that? I've rang UPC numerous times and they done something by remotely changing the settings on my modem which made it a small bit better, but its still disconnecting every so often.

If it is a signal issue, could anyone recommend something to make it stronger?

    Thanks

At a guess i would say they changed the wireless channel on the Netgear router. I would suggest you login and change it again to a different channel and see how you get on.
