Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Desktop under €500 - any ideas?

    Hoping some of you techies might be able to point me in the direction of a PC under €500. Currently have a Dell Dimension C521, but thinking of getting Acer Aspire Revo with 4gb RAM which I can get for a little under €300. I basically use the PC for surfing and converting avi to DVD.

    The Acer Aspire Revo doesn't have a DVD drive.

    Why do you want a new pc?broken/slow/just want a faster one?

    Yeah, bit of a balls about the lack of DVD drive but I already have an external one.

    My Dell PC is getting on a bit and I'd like something with a larger hard drive. I know I could get an external one but for the price and the age of the current pc I'd rather get a new machine. I just like the look of the Revo!

    Just got a add rag in the door for euronics acer desktop with amd processor,3gb ram,500 gb hd, windows 7,dvd rw,499 euro

    I see they have a store in drogheda.( for once living outside the pale pays off:D)
