Mirroring/flipping an image question.

I usually use Picasa for editing (grand) but also have photoshop and gimp on laptop but never use them.

I want to mirror an image, as in reverse it, flip it over. But Picasa doesn't seem to have this option. I was wondering if Photoshop or Gimp does? I've looked on both but I get really confused with the icons and method in both those programmes.

Could anybody point me in the direction of a big green button on either Gimp or Photoshop that says "mirror image". Or something like that?

More likely near the rotate option, to flip horizontally (under Image, Transform in GIMP)

In PS, go to:
image>rotate canvas>flip canvas horzontal / flip canvas vertical
