Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Can't send emails? spamhaus blacklist error?

    OK, can someone help me please, I have been trying to send emails the last two days and I get a spamhaus blacklist error? :mad: I'm receiving emails no problem and have not been sending any spam!!! How did this happen and what should I do? I went on the spamhaus website, do I remove my IP address from the blacklist?

    Exactly. You enter your IP at the link below and then they send you a confirmation code and you can get your IP off the list.

    Run a up to date virus and malware scan and check both your current antivirus and firewall as well as making sure your Windows is fully patched and up to date. Its very possible you are sending spam but unaware of it.

    God I hope not, I only updated my avast recently and actually paid to get the professional version to stop all that! If I was sending spam would it not show up in my sent items folder or would a malware program hide them?

    Mails being sent from your machine might not be mails sent trough your account. If your AV is up to date I wouldn't worry that much about it. Its also possible if your on a home DSL connection that somebody else had that IP recently who's PC is badly infected.

    Run netstat from command line and look for any smtp traffic on port 25. Do this on all machines on your network. Most AV programs won't pick up the viruses sending out these emails, and they can send upto 25k emails per hour.
