Some Fantastic Cars Due in Limerick Fri/Sat this Week!

The GT900 charity rally is going to be in Limerick this weekend arriving to the Strand Hotel at 6pm on Friday and leaving at 10:30 Sat Morning.
They will also be heading over to the Sin Bin around 8:30

Just a few of the cars that will be coming.
Maserati Gran Turismo S,
DeLorean,
Aston Martin Vantage,
Ferrari Testarossa,
Ferrari Dino,
Maserati GT,
Bentley Continental GT
& Porsche 911

and many others!! all to raise funds for the Hope foundation,





I hope the Strand has a very secure car park!!

Did anybody else head for a look?
I was there but had my daughter so couldnt stay too long unfortunately. Seen the DeLorean, 2 Maserattis, loads of BMW's and Alfa's. Im gonna go up again in the morning to get some pictures.

Went there today, was great to see all the cars especially the DeLorean It was also pretty funny that one Ferrari is actually an MR2 in disguise.

They are parked in the Strand Hotel, i presume until the morning. They are leaving at half 10. Ill be heading over to get some decent pictures when they are leaving.

So will be heading out the Ennis road from the Strand.
You can go down into the carpark to see the cars before they leave. They are at the back of the carpark. Got some nice shots today and am off with them tomorrow to cover the next stage. Will stick up a few shots later.

They are also coming back through Limerick on the way back to Cork on Sunday
Stopping at Dromoland at 2:30 so another chance to see them there.

Aw, i didnt know we could go down into the car park. I got a few pics but i had my daughter again so it was hard to get any decent ones while looking after her too.

It would probably fall apart to be honest..

While the DeLorean DMC-12 looks great and has a cult following mainly because of the Back to the Future franchise, it really wasn't a great car especially in the company of some of the others in those photos. The DeLorean was poorly built, not particularly quick, it used a Renault made 2.5 litre V6 engine and the brakes were crap.
