    Update:
    Just finished Harper's Island.

It's just about watchable though I don't think I could really recommend it.
The story's alright but I've never seen a dumber bunch of characters in my life - I was actually cheering when some of them were killed!

Elaine Cassidy was good in it nonetheless - hopefully it will prove a stepping stone to greater things.

Next up for me is Sons of Anarchy - have high hopes for this though I hear it takes a while to get going.

I've been watching Cracker. Seen the first 4 eps of it. Though, I'm not really sure eps does it justice. They are either around the 1.5 or 2.5 hour per "ep". 11 of them total. I'm not going through them as fast as I do other stuff.

I have a lot of stuff on my "To Watch" list. I'll be making choices amongst...

3rd rock from the sun (though that isn't a sit down and watch through it all show, I'm sure.)
Carnivale (Never seen. No idea how good it is.)
Flashforward (Saw some of the eps ages ago. Might go through the lot even though its been canned.)
Heroes (Haven't seen any of season 4 yet, though I'll be looking up to see what movie info becomes available with time. I'm guessing that'll be some time off, so it could be wise to get around to it sooner, and watch 1-4 when the movie comes out.)
Lie to Me (Saw the eps till it took a break. Will watch all the post-break eps soon.)
    Mad Men (Haven't started yet)
Sons of Anarchy (Haven't started yet)
    Supernatural season 5
    The Shield
    True Blood

There is a hell of a lot of TV I need to get to see, thats not all of it.

3rd Rock and Crack excellent. The Solomons Tom, Dick and Harry and Sally. Some great slapstick, one liners and madness. Tom, Harry and Sally going for a Drivers Licence "Imagine what its like trying to get a gun on Earth". All 4 actors work really well together. Sally finding her breasts for the first time :D

I’ve just finished off season 1 of The Vampire Diaries which I really enjoyed. I think I’ll give Supernatural a look next – is it worth a watch.

The only show I’m following up is True Blood and I’m starting to get a little bit bored with that.

I just saw the final 7 eps. of The Vampire Diaries!...bloody great stuff!!, action packaed all the way, loved seeing Stefan embracing his true vampire self, I thought Paul Wesley acted very well when he began drinking human blood again, and that season finale twist!!!!

Glad more people are embracing TVD, giving it a chance and not seeing it as tween/Twilight CW fluff....it's really not!

Yeah TVD is up there in it's "epicness" along with Supernatural.

I've seen a lot of the eps intermittently years ago, but I know theres a load I missed.

The same could be said of Married with Children but I don't have that readily available to watch as of now. I may end up watching that at some stage during the summer. Or afterwards. I'm not really the type who keeps up with TV as its on, but rather watches stuff in chunks as its available.

So far I'm just doing Community, starting Doctor Who S5 next week.
My mourning for Tennant has finally ended ;)

I'm thinking of watching Firefly, I've heard mixed reviews but I'm a sucker for Whedon's stuff (except Dollhouse)

I'm also going to finally watch Veronica Mars right from the beginning, and get properly into Chuck.

Oh also Arrested Development and Seinfeld.

    Oh.. get it done!

I've gone against my better judgment and started watching "Outnumbered" - people keep telling me it's great and that it gets funnier as you watch it.

I just despise kids in TV / movies is all.. especially kids trying comedy!

I've heard the same about Outnumbered and did give it a go, but those horrible children overpowered me.

Eventually I just said "Oh ffs control your children!" and turned it off...

Yes, do it. 10 or so hours very well spent.

I quite enjoyed Veronica Mars. Chuck has some great bits in it.
Oh also Arrested Development and Seinfeld.
Have you seen Curb your Enthusiasm already?

Oh, a general recommendation to everyone: Check out Luther. Its a BBC aired, 6 episodes each just short of an hour. I'll not bother going into specifics on it, and I'd recommend if ye need to read up on it before watching, don't read too much. Just watch it if it sounds up your alley. Great show.

Do Arrested Development before anything else, and forget about Seinfield. :pac:

Have you seen the ads though? Kids seem good in them. It may only be a few seconds of screentime but in Britain it seems to be rare for a child actor to be good even for that long. :pac:

I've watched a good bit of Eureka already. While I think its good, I don't like the way each episode is nearly a stand alone with very little story running through all the episodes. Bit like the way Fringe was at one stage which I hated. I'm mid way through season 2. Can any one tell me if its going to change or will I just give up on it?

I watched the first episode.. and didn't think much of it, but the writing definitely improves by episode 3.

I prefer when it's "a comedy show with actual funny lines" (and it does have some great lines) as opposed to "a comedy show where the kids say something ludicrous / cute".

Here's an example of the former:

The father (Pete) is a teacher and is accused of being a racist towards one of his students who is an overweight Muslim as he told him: 'You could do with Ramadan lasting all year round, couldn't you Kamal?'

Not hilarious.. but admittely very witty and made me laugh. And the latter:

The mother (Karen) is combing nits out of the youngest child's (Karen) hair.. and she says: "Mummy, can I keep a nit as a pet?"

The show has its moments, and I have seen all the eps. For the most part, I don't know why. It isn't top quality, just some decent bits in it. Oh, I know why. I don't have anything better to do. Its sort of a ritual, I guess. Oh, new ep of Eureka. Yeah, I'll watch it.

I have similar sentiments about Warehouse 13. Another Syfy run show. And both shows.. it seems a lot longer goes between seasons/breaks between seasons than other networks.

Syfy USA is a lot of crap, really, isn't it?
